Learn-the -basics of diving with Dive Victoria's Learn-to-Dive program for children age 5 - 8 years.  This program will introduce participants to the sport of diving using a fun, creative and age-appropriate approach when teaching a variety of skills that lay the foundation for a future in High Performance diving, as well as teaching physical literacy competencies that will benefit them in any other sport or physical activity.  Each one-hour session will introduce skills such as balance, coordination, agility, strength and flexibility through dryland activities, as well as time learning diving technique in the water. Additional skills such as body awareness, posture, listening and concentration will be emphasized.​​

Participants MUST be able to swim independently in the deep water to participate in this program.
